The Senior Officers¡¦
Mess may order an Infantry Sword for retiring members from a German sword
manufacturer. Members
are required to pay the difference between the
cost of the sword and the amount of subsidy provided by the
Mess. Alternatively,
retiring members may choose to receive the cash
subsidy as the retirement gift.

Only
members of three years standing are permitted to receive the subsidy.

An Infantry Sword Display Box, made of good quality oak wood
with black velvet lace backing, can be tailor-made by our German sword
manufacturer.

Retiring members will be contacted by the
Souvenirs & Events Member of the SOs' Mess close to their retirement
